Seafood Atlantic

So me and 3 buds decided to eat here after 7 hours of deep sea fishing. We were dead tired, and super dehydrated after fishing in the sun and drinking beer all day. We were surprised that a high ranking place was literally next door to the dock. All seating is outdoors, and we were comfortable in the pvc pipe tables and chairs under a fan. The service was a little slow, but nothing to really complain about. Food came out in a decent time. We all got either grouper or sea bass, and it was actually very fresh and delicious. We do recommend this place as we enjoyed it very much. Don’t expect anything fancy, or pretty presentation.

There are definitely better options in the area for seafood. Scallops were pretty plain, lacking flavor, wings tasted like rubber, garlic bread just mediocre. Swordfish soup was pretty good though and stone crab claws with mustard sauce are delicious. Overall not great, has potential to do better. 3.5 stars. There are definitely better options in the area for seafood.

We had scallops and steamed mussels. The mussels were not warm-more like room temp but edible. The scallops had to be cooked more (too rubbery). Once cooked more they were good. Everything tasted fresh. Expected better. Service was good.

The food was okay. The new England clam chowder was delicious. However, the King crab legs were a bit salty and not a big bang for your buck as you can see in the pic. Paid around $180 for this meal. The chairs were also really uncomfortable.

Wow! We stumble across this place when we were visiting Cocoa beach. I ordered the Crab cake dinner and it was fabulous! The inside was so moist but didn't fall apart when I cut into it. My fiancé ordered the scallop dinner and he said it was very good. We also had shrimp for an appetizer but I can't remember the name. They were a sweet shrimp. Soo yummy! Besides the food tasting wonderful our server was amazing. She was attentive and told us about the port. We were lucky enough to see a dolphin swimming by while we were waiting for our food. Amazing food. Great service. Awesome atmosphere! You won't be disappointed. 😊

Visited Cocoa Beach this summer and decided to have dinner here with my family. I can honestly say I was impressed. Mini crab cake appetizers were fresh and properly made as well as the grouper dinner. All around a wonderful experience from the food to the service. If I'm back in FL I will definitely visit again!

We eat at Seafood Atlantic when in Cocoa Beach, Fl. Tonight we had a bucket of fresh Red Shrimp. Rock Shrimp and Canaveral Whites both local and fresh were available. Great food on the docks views of ships entering the harbor. They serve under a big tent not much traditional ambience and it's not needed as the food is fresh! Highly Recommended!

We ate on the dock overlooking the waterway. A bit pricey but the freshest fish around- i understand its usually caught that day. Good selection of seafood and sides. Desserts were tasty and, i think, mostly homemade.Service was very good also.

On a trip to Florida our family visited here for some local seafood. When we got into the restaurant the outdoor seating next to the port is cool, we even got to see the Disney Fantasy ship pull out of port. At first glance of the menu is seemed like they had a lot of options, but after a closer examination, it wasn’t so; mostly just the same style cooking with different meats. Today the service seemed just a tad slow, the waitresses did their best to keep up with it tho, have to give them props for that. Overall a great place to eat!

Had lunch. My order didn't come out as I requested but I still ate it. It was still good. The waiter did say he would fix it but I was in a hurry. Little pricey but I would return. Four stars of the dead fish smell wasn't in the air.🤗

It was really good seafood, really fresh fish, cooked exactly as it should be with tons of filling sides. Excellent dining and not too expensive either. My only quip, and they can't really do anything about it, but the view was just OK. People do need to be aware that they'll be there for the ambience of a seaport market sort of and that's pretty nice but there's the view of a small port /inlet type of place and then opposite that the view of the parking lot.

Fresh fish, good soup, great sides, friendly and helpful staff. All together makes a great restaurant.The few negatives are small in comparison. Their food menu does change based on seafood availability and they do not reprint it, but they do give a great explanation of what they do and do not have when you sit down. The view for a waterside restaurant is lacking, but they focus on the food itself.Lastly be careful when you order a fish meal. They will ask you how you want it and ordering poorly, such as medium for tuna, will end up with a less than perfect bit of fish. I recommend ordering "chef's temp" to get the best flavor.

Great food with higher than average prices. I wish they could moderate the salt because I'm on a sodium-reduced diet. What's with all the salt in food these days? Easy to add, very difficult to eliminate.

Best "fresh seafood" at the port. Nothing here has seen the freezer.. Great staff and decent prices .

This fish house not only sells extremely fresh fish (all over the U.S.) but it also serves excellent food like raw oysters and Ling Cod grilled in Peruvian Gold seasoning, right on the Canaveral inlet north of Cocoa Beach.

Very fresh daily catch seafood. Excellent service. However if you are on a budget then this isn't for you.

Soups are excellent!!! We went as a group and everything we tried was excellent. The pot pie had a delicious curry sauce. Definitely recommend!

Some of the best, freshest seafood I've had in years. Red shrimp? Fantastic! Fish tacos? Yum! Oysters, ceviche, ... all superb.

My first visit to Seafood Atlantic and a local. Friendly and prompt greeting outside and in the seafood market. Nice cool patio in spite of a 90+ degree day. The SE breeze helped! The salsa (w/chips) was very good, freshly prepared ingredients with texture and taste. Next came the Bacon Wrapped Scallops, the best around plus they are much larger than anyone's. The Seafood Taco's was my entre' choice delicious sauce and the taste of fresh fish is what I expected. Yum. The corn taco was excellent. Nice to see all the trawling vessels dockside too, adds to the ambience.They only had beer, wine and prosecco so no margarita with my tacos.

The server was very good, and friendly as well. The food was quite good as well, but they were out of a few things, which was disappointing. I don't imagine that happen often though. Nice outdoor seating.

We discovered this treasure our 1st visit to the area 2015. Been coming back to the area ever since. Loved the laid back charm and friendly people. Seafood Atlantic embodies all of that and more. Their fresh fish market is the best around by far. The restaurant is casual but the best on the canal. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. If there when busy, allow a little extra time. Their food is cooked from scratch and they pride themselves on their delicious menu.

One of the best places to get seafood. Have often brought guests from out of town - they all have loved it. Great atmosphere and located on the water. Everything I have ever ordered has been very good. They also have a market with fresh seafood & fish. Very highly recommend

You have to get the blackened grouper sandwich with a side of Bills peppers/onions. We put the mix on our sandwich and it makes it dynamite! Wonderful oysters. The creme brulee and chocolate cake fantastic!!!! The waitress showed us how to crack into our blue crab. Such nice service. We are coming back while on vacation.

We stopped to eat here as we appreciate they buy from the local fisherman. Most places don’t do this. We had the golden tile fish sandwich and is was delicious. It’s a large sandwich and easily can be split with someone. Would definitely visit again!

You won't be wowed by the setting, which is basically a tent outside a fish market, but you can be sure the catch is fresh, they have a broad selection of preparations (oysters baked with smoked gouda!), and a limited, if serviceable, drink selection.No pictures because I was too busy talking and eating.

If you want frozen and fried “seafood” go somewhere else. If you want fresh, delicious, genuine, local and fresh seafood; go here. Clam chowder, mahi, tilefish, Florida lobster, on and on. Very good and staff is great. Plus they are unloading boats of fish out back, doesn’t get any better.
